Welcome to Swan's Island First Aid
The Swan's Island First Aid (SIFA) station -- a volunteer, part-time first aid station for all Swan's Island, Maine residents and visitors -- is launching in July 2026. SIFA is an offshoot of a community health needs assessment to improve the island's access to health care.
Walk In Hours:
Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. | 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Walk in Hours will be available July 6 - August 28.

Swan's Island is an unbridged island located in Downeast Maine, not far from Acadia National Park. The island is serviced multiple times daily by a year-round ferry from Bass Harbor, ME. This close-knit island community has a rich history and culture. There are about 425 year-round residents, and that number can triple in the summer months when seasonal residents and visitors arrive.
